The colours of flamenco – dance show with live music

The colours of flamenco are the colours of life – the fiery reds of blood and fire, the warm browns of earth and mud, the cool turquoise of sky and sea. This Andalusian music and dance is an elemental force of passion, pain and joy, a genre that weaves together centuries of Sephardic, Romani and Moorish cultural traditions.
The essence of flamenco lies in the moment – the sensitive and improvisational interaction of the artists makes each performance unrepeatable. The naked sincerity of the singing (cante), the virtuosity of the guitar (toque), the passionate drive of the dance (baile) and the rhythmic clapping (palmas) combine to create a kind of magic on stage.
This time, four flamenco artists from Madrid show the beauty and vitality of the genre. In addition to traditional tunes, they will also perform their own compositions, giving the audience a truly unique, living and breathing flamenco experience.
