Ombra

Musical proposal of festive character/world-music of approximately 90 min. where we combine themes of our album ¨Posidonian Poetry¨ with several pieces (fresh and in the same musical line) of what will be our next work, always with an extreme quality and delicacy. Our goal is to delve into the subject that now concerns us as inhabitants of the Mediterranean coasts, we place the listener in much of the Middle East conflicts that now have as a bridge the Mediterranean culture (countries like Armenia, Morocco, Syria, Israel, Sahara …) and give voice to these stories through music. We embark the audience on a sonorous journey through various Mediterranean cultural aspects, and subtly invite them to reflect on the importance of preserving our sea and some species such as Posidonia. We also give a historical touch to the musical journey through some specific characteristics of the tradition (relationship with our world and the Sephardic – Andalusian – Judeo-Spanish, traditional Armenian instrumentation, influence of the Ottoman Empire, conflicts in the Middle East …).
